  • Cosmetic Acupuncture and Facial Rejuvenation

Our cosmetic acupuncture treaments are a safe and natural alternative to plastic surgery and botox injections. Each session includes a customized combination of facial acupuncture with ultrafine needles, guasha, cupping, rolling, and/or LED light therapy, as well as the application of natural facial care products. Best results are achieved with a course of 6 or 12 sessions followed by less frequent maintenance treatments. • Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT)

Low level light therapy is the application of LED or laser light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. The energy is used to improve cellular performance and leads to tissue repair and pain control. Light therapy is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and has a variety of applications across many medical fields. Research on LLLT suggests that it can increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone, texture and clarity, and ease muscle and joint pain. New research has even shown that it may be possible to improve fertility in both women and men. For women in particular there seems to be the potential of great benefit.

In our office we use LLLT in our cosmetic sessions, for all types of pain conditions, Bell’s palsy and fertility. The product we use is FDA approved for multiple indications, including: arthritis, muscle spasm, muscle and joint pain, muscle tissue tension, joint and muscle stiffness, diminished local circulation and inflammatory acne vulgaris.
LLLT can be added on to an existing acupuncture session or can be a standalone treatment.

  • Natural Fertility Program

with Acupuncture and Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT)

We have blended our 90 day preconception acupuncture program with low level light therapy in order to support our clients in reaching their optimal fertility. We develop personalized nutrition and lifestyle plans to further increase your chances of conceiving along with regular acupuncture and LLLT sessions.

This 12 week plan aims to optimize egg quality and reduce scar tissue and inflammation. Each acupuncture session during the 12 weeks includes the application of low level light therapy. We have chosen to implement LLLT in our fertility treatments to stimulate blood flow to the reproductive organs and increase cellular energy production. LLLT can help balance the endocrine system, boost nitric oxide and therefore blood flow and nutrient delivery to the cells, improve collagen proliferation to aid the ligaments that give uterine support and boost ATP production which ultimately decreases chronic inflammation.

There is exciting new research that shows the possibility of improving egg quality and fertility in both women and men. This information seems especially promising for women with PCOS, endometriosis and who are of advanced maternal age.

We also offer IVF and IUI support if you've already begun fertility treaments.

Acupuncture is great at managing all kinds of pain and other symptoms. If you have specific questions, don't hesitate to reach out.
Yes. Children and teens generally respond very well to acupuncture. We just ask that the child is willing and a parent or guardian must consent.
No, we do not reuse needles. We use sterile needles designed for one time use and safely dispose of them.
Treatment plans vary depending on the severity and duration of the condition being treated. Most conditions respond best to regular, frequent treatments (2 or 3 times per week) at first. After progress is made, treatment frequency generally decreases to a maintenance schedule. For some this is 1 time per week, for others it’s biweekly or even less. Your acupuncturist will discuss an appropriate treatment schedule at your first visit.
Some insurance plans do cover acupuncture, though we do not bill insurance. You may use your FSA or HSA account for acupuncture sessions or we can provide you with a superbill if you would like to submit it to your insurance company.
